UAV SURVEYS

The development of UAVS have changed the way in which we visualize and survey sites.

Sites can now be surveyed quicker through the use of lidar and cameras.

At Lamay engineering services we have seen the benefit in the use of this technology and have invested in the flagship DJI MATRICE 300 RTK with a purpose built Zenmuse P1 camera for capturing data.

Setting out( Construction Stakeout)

Setting out is the process by which information is taken from construction design drawings and then pegs, profiles or other marks are set to control the construction work and ensure that each element is constructed in the right position and to the correct level. This is the most crucial aspect of any construction project and mistakes can prove to be very costly. We pride ourselves on delivering accurate setting out with a proven track record on various projects.

Topographic surveys

Topographic surveys form part of our Pre-construction services.

Topographic surveys capture both natural and man made feautures of an area. Having a detailed topographic survey is essential when carrying out a design. Depending on location, all our topographic surveys come with a UAV orthomosaic image of the target area as standard.

MACHINE CONTROL MODELLING

The future of large earthworks construction is here.

Machines used in construction can now be precisely controlled to work efficiently in their environment. Take leveling, for instance — a machine control system enables dozers to compare a digital grading map to the position of the blade and cut it to the proper elevation and position on the job site.

We can create accurate 3D models for your Machine control enabled plant saving you time and money. We have worked on numerous remediation projects supplying GPS equipment and creating these models
